Forests of Ecuador

Ecuador is recognized as a megadiverse country; However, it is also a nation affected by the overexploitation of natural resources such as the indiscriminate cutting of forests, oil exploitation, mining, among others. These activities, despite promoting the country's economic growth, have historically not contributed to the development of the rural sectors where the resource comes from, nor have they promoted sustainable practices. For this reason, it is essential to generate alternatives that ensure the preservation of resources through the conservation of natural ecosystems.
